Terms & Conditions

Educational Simulation Only
Ocean Funded is an educational simulation platform. No real money is deposited, traded, or paid out through this application. All account balances, trade values, profits, losses, commissions, and affiliate payouts are simulated in generic units for the purpose of helping students learn trading concepts and practice in a risk-free environment.
The platform does not operate as a broker, investment advisor, or portfolio manager. No live market orders are executed and no real funds are at stake. Any references to "payouts," "deposits," "capital," or "profits" within these terms refer to simulated values unless explicitly stated otherwise.
By using this platform, you acknowledge that you are participating in an educational simulation and that no real money is involved.
Introduction & Compliance Overview
At Ocean Funded, we are committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and integrity-driven simulated trading environment for all participants. In partnership with TargetFX, we have established a comprehensive set of terms and conditions designed to protect the interests of all learners while upholding the highest standards of simulated market conduct.
These terms apply universally to every account holder operating under the Ocean Funded platform, regardless of account tier, simulated instrument, or geographic location. By activating your account and simulating trades, you expressly acknowledge and agree to be bound by every clause contained herein.
Our surveillance and risk teams actively monitor simulated trading behavior around the clock. Any activity that falls outside the accepted parameters will be subject to immediate review, and appropriate action — including trade invalidation, simulated profit removal, or account suspension — will be taken without prior notice.
This document supersedes all prior verbal or written communications. Ignorance of these terms is not a valid defense against enforcement action.
Prohibited Trading Practices
Line Trade (Chamka) & Market Manipulation
Any attempt to manipulate price levels, coordinate trades to create artificial movement, or engage in "chamka" activity is strictly forbidden. Suspicious trades will have associated profits removed at any time within the running week or working 7 days. Valid proof will be provided.
Arbitrage & Jobbing
Arbitrage strategies that exploit pricing discrepancies between platforms, brokers, or instruments, as well as jobbing — rapid back-and-forth trading designed to extract small, repetitive gains — are prohibited. These practices will result in trade invalidation and profit removal.
Latency Trading & Robot/Automated Trading
Trading strategies that exploit latency differences or utilize automated robots, scripts, or algorithmic programs are strictly prohibited. If detected, the client's current week's trades will be entirely rechecked and invalidated without exception.
Buy Stop / Sell Limit & Sell Stop / Buy Limit Orders
Traders found using Buy Stop/Sell Limit or Sell Stop/Buy Limit order patterns will have their accounts suspended immediately. Ocean Funded reserves the right to invalidate all trades executed under this pattern.
Account & IP Address Rules
Multiple Accounts from Same IP
If multiple accounts are found to be operated from the same IP address, all trades across those accounts will be voided and the accounts will be suspended immediately. There are no exceptions, regardless of whether the accounts belong to different individuals sharing a network.
Multiple Accounts by Same Person
If a single person is operating more than one account and placing the same type of trade across those accounts — thereby exceeding market limits or maximum quantity thresholds — all profits will be invalidated. This includes accounts registered under different names but controlled by the same individual.
Account Security
We strongly recommend that every account holder change the password of any new account issued to them immediately upon receipt. Ocean Funded is not liable for any losses or unauthorized activity resulting from failure to secure account credentials.
Scalping & Position Timing Rules
5-Minute Minimum Hold
Any trader who scalps or squares off a position within 5 minutes of opening it will have all profits from that trade removed.
Close & Reopen Rule
Closing a position and then reopening the same position within 5 minutes is also prohibited and treated equivalently to scalping.
Ban Script Positions
Trading in scripts under regulatory ban is not permitted. However, closing existing positions in banned scripts is allowed.
Repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension beyond simple profit removal.
Trading Hours & Market Schedule
Trades placed outside permitted windows will not be recognized. All times are in Indian Standard Time (IST).
MCX Hours
Opens 9:01 AM · Closes 11:54 PM
NSE Hours
Opens 9:16 AM · Closes 3:29 PM
Trading commences one minute after market open and ceases one minute before market close for all segments. This buffer is non-negotiable.
Liability, Disputes & Enforcement
No Disputes
Once a decision has been made, no argument or counter-claim will be entertained. All decisions by the surveillance and compliance team are final.
Technical Failures
Ocean Funded is not responsible for losses arising due to technical issues, platform outages, connectivity failures, or any technological disruption.
Proof & Documentation
In all enforcement cases, valid proof including trade logs, IP records, timestamp data, and surveillance analysis will be provided.
